Booking Arrangement Limitation due to the Novel Coronavirus Outbreak

TOYOTA Rent-A-Car in Japan is still offering car rental service to overseas customers, however there are some limitations on the arrangement stated as follows;
1) Limited Car Model Designation
Due to the big impact to the business, TOYOTA Rent-A-Car currently reduce the fleet and lineup for car rental service. Each shop (and its operating company) make a decision related to their fleet management based on the regional vehicle needs, which may cause some difficulties on designating specific car model.
2) Operating Hours Change on Airport Shops
As the number of overseas flight is dramatically dropped, some of airport shops such as Haneda Airport Shop and Narita Airport Shop have shorten their operating hours (i.e. 8am - 8pm). Please kindly refer to the shop information from [LOCATION] tab and you may consider staying at a hotel nearby airpot on the arrival date or select another shop in city centre for the next day morning.
3) Suspension on Expressway Pass
As there is (nearly) no tourists coming from overseas, all the services of Expressway Pass have been suspended. Because there is no certain schedule of the resumption, we are unable to confirm any Expressway Pass booking request at this moment even if you select the eligible shops for car pickup and return. Please contact us by email when your scheduled pickup date gets closer (e.g. 1-2 weeks) so that we can help to see the updated situation for you.
For any issue or wonder on your existing booking or new booking request, please do not hesitate to contact us with your Booking ID attached so that we can talk to the shop where you are going to use for car pickup.
